Senior Backend Developer in Lithuania

Summary

The job is for a Senior PHP Developer at BetGames, an international gaming products developer. The role involves working in an agile team, contributing to discovery work, delivering the best customer experience, doing code reviews, applying TDD and DDD practices, and taking on complex development tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior PHP Developer or similar role
• Advanced knowledge of MySQL
• Strong understanding OOP and SOLID
• Strong understanding of the best practices in developing web applications
• Knowledge of at least one PHP MVC framework (Symfony, Laravel)
• Experience with GIT
• Experience with PHP Unit / Codeception
• Experience with Linux systems
• Understanding of design patterns
• Ability to work in a team
• Good English

Responsibilities

• Instill best practice within an agile delivery team
• Work in a collaborative environment and discover new solutions and the best practices for back-end development
• Contribute to discovery work where new technology or features are to be deployed
• Deliver the best experience for company customers
• Work in cross-functional teams, with different type of projects
• Do code reviews
• Work applying TDD and DDD practices
• Take on more complex development tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Docker, Jira, Jenkins
• Experience with database optimization
• Experience with API development and integration
• Experience with RabbitMQ
• Experience with Redis
