Senior Backend Engineer

Summary

Join Fever, a leading tech platform for culture and live entertainment, as a Senior Backend Engineer. You will be part of a team responsible for creating, developing, improving, and maintaining all Fever services. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain high-traffic Python code, participate in agile development, and collaborate with other engineers. You will also mentor junior team members and contribute to the evolution of the platform. Requirements

• Strong knowledge of good practices, testing, and design patterns
• Proficiency in business English
• Ability to deliver code from development to production
• Experience with RESTful APIs (implementation and consumption)
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python
• Design and implement RESTful APIs
• Work with relational databases and SQL
• Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline
• Collaborate with other engineers in an agile environment
• Mentor junior team members
• Analyze user usage and evolve the platform to meet user needs
• Participate in hackathons and team-building activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Django/Flask
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with Redis
• Experience with Celery with RabbitMQ
• Experience working on agile methodology
• Experience with event communication between services
• Experience handling services with more than 1000 requests/second
• Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
