Senior Backend Engineer

Requirements

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree from Computer Engineering or related departments
• Have 4+ years of software development experience
• Have a good grasp of MYSQL, Elasticsearch, and/or NoSQL technologies such as Redis
• Have hands-on experience working with Laravel
• Know PHP (Laravel or Symfony) and Go or Node JS, and you’re passionate to learn them all
• Be familiar with software code tools such as Git, etc
• Know your way around Vue.js
• Have experience driving technical projects, prioritizing work, identifying dependencies, facilitating technical decisions and cross-functional team discussions
• Have a level of English knowledge where you will not have any problems analyzing technical documents

Responsibilities

• Develop programs, applications, and websites using PHP (Laravel), GO, and Node.js
• Improve performance, scalability, and availability of our systems
• Develop cutting-edge web applications with a user-centric approach
• Troubleshoot any issues as they arise, foresee and address potential problems proactively
• Collaborate with co-developers and other related departments to ensure maximum efficiency and arrive at world-class results
• Send regular updates about project status to related stakeholders
• Evaluate and take on tasks based on resolution priority and the greater company vision/goals

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in AWS is a plus
• Hands-on experience in Docker is a plus
