Senior Backend Engineer

Summary

Join us as a fully remote Backend Engineer and contribute to the development of our web applications. You will develop web based systems, work in a team environment, and have opportunities for learning and growth.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of commercial experience as a software engineer or equivalent
• In-depth knowledge of PHP8+
• Familiarity with modern PHP frameworks, preferably Symfony
• Solid understanding of OO programming concepts and patterns
• Familiarity with version control using Git and associated workflows
• Experience with TDD and unit testing
• A strong desire to learn and to contribute to the team’s work

Responsibilities

• Develop web based systems
• Develop functionality for our own products, administration systems and ecommerce capabilities using modern frameworks
• Develop and maintain integrations with third party systems
• Develop our APIs
• Work in a team environment
