Summary
Join Mercury's Spend Management team as a Product Engineer and help build a brand-new platform that redefines how companies manage their spending. You will work closely with designers and product leaders to create intuitive and lovable user experiences. This role requires 4+ years of software development experience, including architectural decision-making and a passion for customer-centric product development. You will be responsible for translating complex financial workflows into simple solutions and taking ownership of your work. Requirements
- Has 4+ years of software development experience, with a knowledge of or excitement to learn Haskell
- Has made architectural decisions in the past and measured the impact of those decisions over time. You should be able to clearly articulate your technical opinions and lay out tradeoffs
- Is passionately customer and product minded and has experience building, shipping, and iterating on new products
- Is someone comfortable driving discussions in areas with ambiguous ownership, approaches them with empathy, and delights in getting outcomes
- Is ridiculously helpful and doesnโt mind crossing team boundaries to improve the product experience and reduce tech debt
