Senior Backend Engineer

Summary

You will collaborate with designers and product leaders to create exceptional card issuing and management experiences. The ideal candidate possesses 4+ years of software development experience, including Haskell knowledge, strong product thinking, architectural decision-making skills, and excellent prioritization abilities. Requirements

• Has 4+ years of software development experience, with a knowledge of or excitement to learn Haskell
• Product thinking is paramount. You should be passionately customer and product minded and have shipping, and iterating on critical products
• Has made architectural decisions in the past and measured the impact of those decisions over time. You should be able to clearly articulate your technical opinions and lay out tradeoffs
• Has strong prioritization skills. We have to focus on what’s essential. You need to know when to commit and how to say no
