Senior Backend Engineer

This fully remote (or hybrid in Sophia-Antipolis) position offers a collaborative environment using SCRUM methodology within a stream-aligned product team. You will be responsible for design, implementation, deployment, and monitoring of Go-based backend services on AWS with Kubernetes. The ideal candidate possesses at least 5 years of experience with strongly typed languages and a proven track record of making high-impact technical decisions. Requirements

• Have experience with strongly typed languages in complex settings, including building and delivering web services
• Have at least 5 years of experience making high-impact technical decisions and driving project outcomes
• Be eager to work with Go (while experience with other languages is welcome)
• Possess a positive attitude and passion for your craft
• Be a pragmatic and empathetic team member
• Be located in France and have a valid work permit

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Go-based backend services
• Design and implement new features and functionalities
• Deploy and monitor backend services on AWS with Kubernetes
• Collaborate with other engineers, product owners, and designers
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
• Work with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, SendGrid, and Auth0
• Maintain high test coverage using tools like Testify
