Requirements

  • You have 3+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering or data engineering
  • You bring a strong background in Golang and Python - and you’re excited about building scalable services in both
  • You’re interested in infrastructure and architecture topics beyond writing code
  • You enjoy working at the intersection of backend systems and data — from services to pipelines to AI tools
  • You’re proactive, take ownership of your work, and bring a drive to push things forward
  • You’re fluent in English; German is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services and data pipelines using Golang, contributing to our evolving service architecture
  • Tackle infrastructure topics related to scalability, performance, and deployment
  • Collaborate closely with the Xentral Core (PHP) team — with the opportunity to deepen your PHP knowledge over time
  • Take ownership of our internal AI platform in Python, supporting analytics and automation use cases
  • Contribute to the development of our new Analytics platform, then transition into broader engineering initiatives
  • Work cross-functionally with product, core backend, and data teams
