Senior Backend Engineer, Integrations Expansion

Join CoinTracker's close-knit, early-stage distributed team and tackle exciting technical challenges, creating transformative crypto products. As part of the newly formed Integration Expansion Team, you will own and deliver new integrations (blockchains & exchanges), leveraging our existing platform. Collaborate with engineering, customer experience, and product teams. Participate in hiring efforts to scale the team. We seek experienced backend software engineers with 5+ years of non-internship experience to build and scale our Integrations Expansion team. The ideal candidate will have strong CS fundamentals, write high-quality code, and value software testing.

Requirements

• We are hiring experienced backend software engineers with 5+ years of non-internship experience to help build and scale our new Integrations Expansion team
• Have strong CS and system design fundamentals, write high-quality code, value software testing, and uphold best practices in engineering
• Able to work effectively in a remote setting and able to overlap with our core hours of 9 AM to 12 PM Pacific Timezone

Responsibilities

• You will be a part of the newly formed Integration Expansion Team that works closely with our Integration engineering team
• You’ll own and deliver new Integrations (blockchains & exchanges) by using our existing Integrations platform system to scale our Integrations coverage and assist in troubleshooting critical Integrations related issues
• Collaborate with engineering, customer experience & product teams within Cointracker
• Participate in hiring efforts to help scale the Integration Expansion Team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a tech lead or team lead is preferred
• Strong Python knowledge & working with third party API’s is preferred
• Familiarity with AWS or GCP & cloud fundamentals is preferred
• Drawn to an early-stage, high-growth startup environment
• Ability to read blockchain data / understanding of web3 strongly preferred
• Background in data engineering domain and closely working with customer support team is a plus
