Summary
Join the Phoenix team as a Senior Backend Engineer (.NET) to develop new features, improve existing services, and support production environments for the Ideals Virtual Data Room product.
Requirements
- Over 6 years of commercial experience in backend development using .NET Framework 4.7, ASP.NET Web API, IIS, knowledge of .NET platform
- Solid understanding of the SDLC, along with software design and architecture principles
- Expertise in API design principles, with a solid understanding of REST, RPC, including security considerations
- Experience with relational databases (preferably MS SQL Server / PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS is preferred)
- Expertise in writing both unit and integration tests while ensuring that best practices for testing are integrated into every phase of development
- Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes, with the ability to create and maintain Helm charts
- B2 level proficiency in English, both spoken and written
Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the SDLC as part of a cross-functional product team
- Ensure high-quality solutions by maintaining acceptable test coverage, aligned with the Definition of Done criteria
- Be a proactive team player, contributing actively to the groupβs efforts to complete tasks and achieve goals
- Adhere to and drive modern software engineering practices through design reviews
- Support hiring activities by participating in technical interviews and live coding sessions to select the best technical talent for the team
- Engage in mentorship and knowledge sharing within the team and Engineering organization
