Requirements

• Expert on backend technologies such as Java 17+, Jakarta, Quarkus, Kotlin, SQL, or similar
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop scalable solutions
• Architectural Thinking: Strong engineering fundamentals and a deep understanding of solutions at scale
• Driven by a strong curiosity in AI and cutting-edge tech, you're hands-on, experimenting with AI-powered tools such as Cursor for coding and optimization
• Project Managing & Decision Making: Collecting feedback, making roadmap decisions, and implementing features without needing a PM/PO to tell you what to do
• Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams, with business stakeholders and convey technical insights clearly
• Strong tendency to automate tasks
• A team-oriented mindset, thriving in an agile environment
• You are fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a cutting-edge software platform, implementing new features and enhancing existing ones
• Scale Oviva’s technology to serve hundreds of thousands of active patients
• Take ownership of the platform - from source code to production - ensuring high quality, security, and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional squads (Product, Engineering) to refine technical solutions that drive real impact
• Fix and prevent issues, conducting thorough root cause analyses
