Senior Backend Nodejs Developer

Summary

Join our team as a Senior Backend NodeJS Developer and contribute to the development of our Business Intelligence Application. You will develop smart BI solutions using NodeJS with TypeScript, manage extensive data volumes using Google BigQuery, and build high-traffic APIs. Collaborate with experienced developers, product managers, and data scientists to improve existing features and introduce new ones. This role requires at least 5 years of experience with Node.js and TypeScript, proficiency in SQL or NoSQL databases, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Requirements

• Have at least 5 years of experience working with Node.js
• Have recent and practical experience with TypeScript
• Have proficiency in working with SQL or No-SQL databases
• Write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code, and actively maintain the quality of the codebase
• Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Be used to working in an English-speaking and agile environment
• Raise the quality of the software you work on

Responsibilities

• Develop smart BI solutions utilizing NodeJS with TypeScript
• Manage extensive data volumes efficiently, employing Google BigQuery and integrating seamlessly with Business Intelligence systems
• Build and enhance high-traffic APIs, ensuring minimal latencies
• Work closely with experienced developers, product managers, data scientists, and analysts to improve existing features and introduce new ones
• Encourage innovative ideas and creations - a flat organizational structure, and fast decision-making processes ensure ample room for contribution and growth
• Draft architectural decisions together with our Tech Lead and explore new technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with Elasticsearch
• Have experience with Google Big Query
• Have familiarity with centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions like Datadog
• Have recent and practical experience with React, VueJs, or similar frontend frameworks
