• Strong backend engineering experience coding in Java, particularly in AI-powered products
• An interest in GenAI, LLMs, and AI-driven customer support solutions

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and build of our user support GenAI platform
• Develop scalable AI solutions to enable other teams within Canva
• Build key user-facing features for "Ask Canva," our AI-powered support chatbot
• Drive incremental improvements to our AI platform and backend integration
• Work closely with ML Engineers to introduce cutting-edge AI capabilities
• Deeply integrate AI systems with Canva's ecosystem to better support users
• Present opportunities in AI for the team to explore and implement
