Remote Senior Back-end Software Engineer

Summary

Jalasoft seeks a Senior Back-end Software Engineer with 6+ years of experience in C# development, proficient in back-end C# development using .NET 6 or above. The role involves designing and developing scalable back-end solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams, and demonstrating expertise in microservices, ASP.NET WebAPI, Entity Framework, relational databases, version control systems (Git), Agile Tools, CI/CD processes, Docker, and Kubernetes. Remote work is offered with 13 floating holidays and 15 vacation days per year.

Requirements

• 6+ years of proven experience in C# development
• Proficiency in back-end C# development with a solid understanding of .NET 6 or above
• Advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and proficiency in software development best practices, design patterns, SOLID principles, and coding standards
• Experience designing and developing microservices for improved scalability and maintainability
• Demonstrate expertise in using theories, principles, concepts, and methods to create innovative solutions
• Experience with ASP.NET WebAPI and Entity Framework
• Hands-on experience working with relational databases
• Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable back-end solutions using the latest technologies and frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile Tools and CI/CD processes, especially Azure DevOps, is highly desirable
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
