Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer responsible for building, managing, and optimizing our AWS cloud infrastructure. You will implement data storage solutions, automate workflows, build monitoring dashboards, and ensure data security and availability. This role requires extensive experience with AWS, big data technologies, and infrastructure-as-code tools. You will also be responsible for performance diagnostics and on-call duties. The ideal candidate possesses strong programming skills in Python and Shell scripting and excellent communication skills. A competitive salary of 25 LPA is offered.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience on public cloud such as AWS (preferred), Azure or GCP -Design, implement, and maintain the data pipeline infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS Preferably)
• Big Data fundamentals – Big data knowledge, managing big data infrastructure, managing and monitoring data pipelines
• Solid programming skills in Python and Shell scripting
• Working experience with data platforms like any of EMR, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Hadoop, Databricks
• Experience with relational & non-relational databases and it’s management
• Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible or CloudFormation and Jenkins IAM & networking security
• Experience with performance diagnostics, debugging and performance tuning
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Build and manage our cloud infrastructure (AWS) with code first mindset
• Implement data storage solutions such as S3, ERDS and NoSQL databases
• Automate workflows using orchestration systems like airflow, oozie etc
• Build monitoring and observability dashboards
• Cost optimization and management
• Enforce security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges), establish procedures to ensure data integrity and availability
• Perform on-call duties to keep the lights up 24x7
• Setup and maintain documentation and standards

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years experience on public cloud such as AWS
• Design, implement, and maintain the data pipeline infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS Preferably)
