Summary
Join MCA Connect as a Data & Analytics Senior Consultant and partner with team members, mentor junior colleagues, and directly contribute to the growth of the Manufacturing Intelligence team. Lead project implementations, drive innovation, and collaborate with leadership for continuous improvement. Build client relationships, utilize Agile methodologies, implement efficient technical architectures, and perform hands-on implementations of Microsoft data solutions. Responsibilities include leading requirements gathering, designing dimensional models and data integration pipelines, building Power BI solutions, identifying optimization opportunities, mentoring junior staff, leading client sessions, troubleshooting BI solutions, designing Azure DevOps processes, overseeing project teams, obtaining certifications, driving new revenue, and learning Master Data Management and Data Governance techniques. The role requires significant experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, Azure cloud platforms, and Power BI. Excellent communication skills are essential. Requirements
- 5+ years Data Warehousing (Azure/SQL/Synapse/Spark/Delta Lake), ETL (ADF Pipelines/SSIS), Analysis Services, DAX, Power BI Pro and Premium and/or equivalent
- High level understanding of various Azure cloud data platforms and services
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing data solutions for complex business problems
- Experience working on projects involving large volumes of data, preferably in the Manufacturing industry
- Demonstrated the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and other relevant parties
- Bachelorβs degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience preferable
- Knowledge of Microsoft ERP and CRM tools desirable
- Kimball Dimensional Modeling and batch/incremental ETL development approaches
- Experience with database performance tuning activities
- Experience developing and managing data quality monitoring and an understanding of data governance methodologies
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering sessions and documentation of client requirements
- Design and implement dimensional models
- Design, build, maintain, and support complex data integration pipelines
- Design and build Power BI Reports, Dashboards, and Apps
- Able to present how your suggested solution will work and why it should be implemented
- Able to identify optimization opportunities and plan implementation
- Mentor junior resources
- Lead working sessions with clients
- Lead and delegate ad hoc requests from clients
- Troubleshoot BI solutions, identify problems, and improve performance and security
- Design Azure DevOps backlog, sprints, and lead delivery
- Oversee project team and source code
- Obtain professional certifications to support our partner designations
- Drives new revenue through successful delivery, client relationships, and some pre-sales support
- Learning Master Data Management techniques and technologies
- Learns Data Governance processes and technologies
- Expertise with database and pipeline performance tuning activities
