Senior Controller

Summary

The job is for a Senior Controller as a consultant who will provide financial planning and analysis support to medium-sized companies, manage accounts with revenue over $3M, and supervise at least 3 staff accountants/bookkeepers. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in a business discipline or equivalent, at least three years of experience in a controllership role, demonstrated expertise in Accounting Software, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a business discipline or equivalent
• At least three years of experience in a controllership role
• Demonstrated expertise in Accounting Software (e.g., Sage Intacct, NetSuite, etc.)
• Expertise in client and people management
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Provide financial planning and analysis support to medium-sized companies
• Provide fractional controllership support to clients
• Manage accounts with revenue over $3M
• Manage at least 3 staff accountants/bookkeepers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing an accounting department preferred
• Proficient in presenting at board meetings
• Strong ability to provide process improvement and software suggestions
• Grants and revenue tracking experience
• Can prepare and support high-level audit requirements
• Project management and non-profit experience preferred
