Senior Data Analyst

Join ChowNow as our Senior Data Analyst and help shape the future of our products and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, identify key opportunities, design analytical solutions, and deliver impactful insights to inform crucial organizational decisions. This role requires strong business acumen, technical analytical skills, and the ability to translate data into compelling narratives. You will go beyond surface-level reporting to uncover root causes, identify trends, and build predictive models. The position involves using SQL, BI tools (Looker or Tableau), and Python or R for advanced analysis. This is a remote role based in the United States, reporting to the Senior Business Operations & Strategy Manager.

Requirements

• Have a minimum 4-7 years of relevant experience in a Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Accounting or Finance role
• Possess Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Be highly proficient in SQL and data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Mode, Power BI etc)
• Have strong ethics and high integrity while maintaining a sense of confidentiality
• Be familiar with business operations, KPI's, and data storytelling and possess superb problem-solving aptitude while maintaining attention to detail
• Have experience working cross functionally, especially with Customer Experience, Finance, Sales, and Marketing
• Be able to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast paced environment
• Be a self-starter, with a bias, towards action ownership, and delivering value

Responsibilities

• Work on our core products and business functions to help shape the future of what we build and how we provide service at ChowNow
• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify key opportunities, design robust analytical solutions, and deliver impactful insights that inform high-stakes decisions across the organization
• Go beyond surface-level reporting to uncover root causes, identify trends, and build predictive models that help shape the future of our products
• Extract and manipulate data using SQL, build scalable dashboards in BI tools like Looker or Tableau, and perform advanced analysis using Python, R, or similar tools
• Consistently deliver compelling presentations and executive summaries that guide operational and strategic planning
• Develop and maintain key reporting, translate analytical findings into clear and compelling insights, and present to non-technical audiences
• Support strategic initiatives by providing ad-hoc analysis, scenario modeling, measurement planning, and business case development all of which will quantify impact and optimize outcomes
