Requirements

  • 4+ years of work experience in data analytics or data science roles
  • University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL. Ability to write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries with minimal guidance
  • Experience with data exploration tools such as: Looker, Mode, Amplitude
  • Experience with data transformation tools such as DBT Cloud and DBT Core
  • Passionate and curious about solving complex analytical problems using quantitative approaches
  • Ability to focus in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Eagerness to learn from others and help others grow with you

Responsibilities

  • Identify business opportunities and present data-driven recommendations to business stakeholders
  • Work with complex datasets to answer ambiguous questions and uncover new insights on product features
  • Develop a deep understanding of how users interact with ESPN Bet / Hollywood Casino / theScore Bet / theScore apps and websites
  • Collaborate with Analytics Engineers to design and optimize data pipelines to improve data model performance
  • Help with implementation & adoption of a data exploration tool across the organization
  • Stay on top of emerging trends in media, sports betting, analytics & marketing industries
