Senior Data Analyst

Join Circle's Data and Analytics team as a senior data analyst to support strategic direction and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

• Strong alignment with our values
• You are proficient in English (spoken, written, and reading) at a CEFR Level C1 / ILR Level 5
• 5+ years of experience in a data analysis role, with a focus on engaging with senior stakeholders
• Familiarity with using dbt. for data transformation and management
• Strong proficiency with SQL. and other data manipulation languages
• Proficiency in Python. for data analysis and scripting
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions
• Present complex analytical findings and insights in a clear and actionable manner to senior and non-technical management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and drive data-driven decision-making
• Conduct comprehensive data analysis using various methods and frameworks to extract meaningful insights
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust analytical models to support business objectives
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Utilize DBT to manage and transform data within the data warehouse
• Develop and maintain Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous testing and validation processes
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data analysis, analytics tools, and technologies
• Propose and implement process improvements to enhance data quality, efficiency, and effectiveness
• Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
