Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years in a data analyst (or similar) role, ideally at a growth-stage company
- Curiosity & Adaptability: Naturally curious, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and make thoughtful trade-offs between speed and accuracy
- Communication Skills: Adept at collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into actionable steps, and communicating roadblocks clearly
- SQL Expertise: Expert level SQL in advanced features such as window functions, creating new tables, and writing clean, succinct code
- Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with: BI/data visualization tools (we use Omni) to create dashboards and empower self-service analytics
- Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with: Product analytics platforms (we use Amplitude) to understand user behavior and analyze experiments
- Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with: DBT or similar tools for data transformation and dataset creation
- Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with: Data warehouse (we use Snowflake)
Responsibilities
- Build & Improve Data Infrastructure: Create new datasets and pipelines while enhancing our existing data infrastructure to ensure scalability and efficiency
- Enable Self-Service Analytics: Develop intuitive models and train team members on our BI tool, empowering stakeholders to independently access insights
- End-to-End Analytics Projects: Manage projects from data ingestion into our warehouse (we use Fivetran & Snowflake) to transforming data with DBT and crafting user-facing dashboards
- Deliver Strategic Insights: Provide data-driven recommendations to guide key business decisions, sharing findings across teams and with leadership
- Understand User Behavior: Analyze product and feature usage to assess long-term cohort health and uncover opportunities for improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in consumer subscription analytics
- Experience in an early stage, high growth startup
