You will work with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS (Databricks preferred) and have experience extracting data from cloud-native sources. Requirements
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a Mandatory (Databricks strongly preferred)
- Technical knowledge of data systems and curiosity to solve business problems
- Understanding and curiosity about data products utilizing Gen AI
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and SQL is Mandatory
- Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following business subject areas: marketing, finance, sales, product, customer success, customer support, engineering, or people
- Experience with extracting and transforming data from cloud-native sources (Salesforce, NetSuite)
- 5+ years in the Data space as an analyst, engineer, scientist, or equivalent
- 2+ years managing/building data visualization solutions
Responsibilities
- Collect business requirements and design highly optimized data models
- Identify performance metrics definition and automation opportunities
- Build trust through data conversion to data stories for internal and external consumption
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the Enterprise Data Model
- Design, develop, and extend dbt code to enhance the Enterprise Dimensional Model
- Create and maintain architecture and systems documentation
- Provide cross-team support for CRM and Marketing teams
- Assist with complex data analysis tasks
- Implement the DataOps philosophy in everything you do
- Create enterprise-grade reporting/data visualization solutions
- Manage Databricks work space
Preferred Qualifications
Track record with optimal data model development to drive business insights (experience with dbt cloud strongly preferred )
