Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable data solutions
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or SQL
• Expertise in building and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes
• Experience with cloud platforms, like AWS or GCP

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and efficient data pipelines and ETL processes to collect, process, and transform data from multiple sources
• Architect and optimize data storage solutions, including data warehouses, data lakes, and NoSQL databases
• Develop and maintain data infrastructure and automation tools using cloud platforms
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement solutions
• Lead performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of data pipelines
• Mentor junior data engineers, provide technical guidance and support, and promote best practices for data engineering and software development
