Senior Data Engineer

Summary

Join a thriving 50-person SME as a Senior Data Engineer in a fully remote position. This role involves co-defining, implementing, and maintaining a new data architecture (ESB + MDM or Data Lake). You will validate the choice of an ESB within two months, implement the chosen ESB and data flows within the first year, and establish a centralized repository. The ideal candidate possesses 7+ years of data experience, expertise in ESB and APIs, SQL, Python, and Java, and a passion for open-source technologies. The position offers full remote work with occasional on-site visits and the opportunity to lead a significant data project within a growing company.

Requirements

• Au moins 7 ans d'expérience dans l'univers de la data
• Connaissance parfaite du cycle de vie et des principaux outils de gestion de données
• Mise en place d'un ESB et des APIs
• Développement de requêtes SQL ad-hoc
• Bonne connaissance des langages Python et Java
• Passion pour les technologies Open Source
• Forte appétence en architecture data

Responsibilities

• Co-définir, mettre en place et maintenir la nouvelle architecture Data (ESB + MDM ou Datalake)
• Valider le choix d'un ESB (MuleSoft ou autre open source) à horizon 2 mois
• Mettre en œuvre l'ESB choisi, et progressivement les flux de données (une centaine) en année 1
• Identifier et mettre en place un référentiel centralisé (MDM ou DataLake)
• Participer aux projets d'évolution de l'écosystème data (ajouts ou changements de softs, évolutions fonctionnelles, intégration d'IA...)
