Senior Data Engineer

Summary

Join Wellhub's growing Gen AI team in Brazil as a Senior Data Engineer and help build the next generation of AI-powered solutions. This role focuses on organizing and leveraging digital information about existing and potential partners to enhance partner and user experiences. You will collect data from various sources, process, analyze, and utilize it to improve partner content, user recommendations, business insights, and platform quality. The ideal candidate is an avid learner comfortable with big data concepts and data pipeline tools. Requirements

• You have created robust and scalable data models from business requirements
• You have worked collaboratively to collect, prepare and analyze complex business data
• You are able to engage engineering and product teams to elicit requirements and present solutions to top management
• Knowledge of data pipeline tools and technologies (e.g., Airflow, EMR, Kafka)
• You are able to collaborate with different teams to understand data needs and develop effective data pipelines
• You are comfortable understanding big data concepts to ingest, process and make data available for data scientists, business analysts and product teams
• You are comfortable maintaining data consistency across the entire data ecosystem
• You are motivated to contribute to a data-driven culture and see the impact of your work reflected company wide

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data models and structures that enable efficient querying and analysis
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to transform and process large volumes of data from various sources, while adding business context and semantics to the data
• Implement automated data quality checks to guarantee data quality and consistency across the whole data life cycle
