Senior Data Engineer

This fully remote role, based in the EMEA region, requires 5+ years of experience in data engineering with expertise in dbt, Airflow or Dagster, ETL/ELT pipelines using Fivetran, and Google Cloud's data ecosystem. You will build and maintain scalable data solutions, integrate data from various platforms, and contribute to a unified data model for our RevOps, Product Analytics, and FinOps teams. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong track record of designing and implementing scalable data solutions
• Extensive experience with dbt and the best practices for building, structuring, and testing code-first transformations using Python
• Proven experience building and maintaining production-grade DAG-based pipelines orchestration like Airflow or Dagster
• In-depth knowledge of building ETL and ELT pipelines using Fivetran
• Strong experience with streaming data architectures and (near) real-time data processing, using the Google Cloud data ecosystem
• Deep understanding of Google BigQuery services for big data
• Familiarity with operating in a git-first environment and automating workflows using CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience integrating data from Sales and Marketing platforms, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, or Outreach
• Clear understanding of common data models used in payment systems like Stripe

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of our Data Engineering practice
• Provide robust, scalable, and cloud-native data infrastructure to fuel analytics across Hostaway
• Build and maintain production-grade DAG-based pipelines orchestration like Airflow or Dagster
• Build ETL and ELT pipelines using Fivetran
• Integrate data from Sales and Marketing platforms, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, or Outreach

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with DevOps infrastructure-as-code tooling like Terraform to provision cloud resources
• Familiarity with RDS
• ElasticSearch
