Remote Senior Data Engineer

Summary

Join a team that leads clients through their data journey, from strategy to operations, helping them realize the full value of their data. As an End-to-End Data Services Partner, you will design, model, and develop whole GCP data ecosystems for global brands and enterprises.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience as a Data Engineer
• 3 years of experience working with GCP cloud-based infrastructure & systems
• Strong knowledge in cloud computing platforms - Google Cloud
• Proficient in data modeling techniques and database optimization
• Knowledge of query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning
• Proficient in database management systems such as SQL (Big Query is a must)
• Experience with data integration tools and techniques, such as ETL and ELT
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Programming skills (SQL, Python, other scripting)
• Tools knowledge: Git, Jira, Confluence, etc

Responsibilities

• Design, model, and development of whole GCP data ecosystem
• Gathering, analyzing, modelling, and documenting business/technical requirements
• Modelling the data from various sources and technologies
• Troubleshooting and supporting complex and high-impact problems

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in big data technologies or/and cloud platforms
• Experience with BI solutions (e.g. Tableau)
• Experience with Azure cloud-based infrastructure & systems
• Experience with ETL tools: e.g. Talend, Alteryx
