Remote Senior Data Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Data Engineer and contribute to the architecture roadmap, implementing functionalities alone or with minimal help from colleagues. You will work independently but also be part of a collaborative team that values human values and opinions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering (SQL, NoSQL, Kafka, ETL Tools, Data Lakes & Data Warehouses)
• 2+ years of experience in DataOps (AWS - DMS and Airflow, Terraform, Docker)
• Experience with data warehousing solutions, preferably Snowflake - as a developer, not necessarily as an architect
• 2+ years of programming skills in Python
• Familiarity with data testing
• Deep expertise in data pipelines, streaming data, and ETL workflows (DBT preferred)

Responsibilities

• Implement functionalities alone or with minimal help from more experienced colleagues
• Contribute to the architecture roadmap, resulting in performant and reliable systems that provide a great developer experience
• Think holistically about the software being created - functionality, testing, maintenance, further development
• Eagerly share knowledge and also learn from more experienced colleagues
