Join Age of Learning as a Senior Data Scientist and lead the charge in leveraging data to drive business decisions. You will partner with various stakeholders to analyze large datasets, build machine learning models, and create insightful dashboards. Requirements

  • 8+ years in a data-intensive role
  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Ph.D. preferred)
  • Proven experience with analytical, statistical, and machine learning methods
  • Experience productionalizing models
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Curious, motivated, self-starter, collaborative, team player
  • Passionate about high-quality, insightful data analysis
  • Experience mentoring others

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with multiple stakeholders, including the executive team, marketing, partnerships, strategy, product, and customer success, to understand business needs and surface insights and learnings that address them
  • Develop statistical analyses and build and deploy machine learning models to understand and predict customer behavior and product performance
  • Create, report, and interpret key metrics to assess performance, measure the impact of strategic initiatives, and identify ways to grow revenue and reduce costs
  • Support A/B and multivariate testing
  • Create informative and actionable dashboards and visualizations
  • Communicate results to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Identify actionable insights that positively affect both company revenue and learning outcomes for children
  • Build personalization features to customers
  • Mentor others across the company on Data Science best practices, tools, and techniques
