Senior Data Scientist

Summary

Join Arine, a rapidly growing healthcare technology company, as a Data Scientist. You will leverage large health datasets to develop and deploy predictive models and AI tools within our medication management platform. The position requires a Master's or PhD in a relevant field, extensive experience with healthcare data and specific technologies, and strong communication skills. The role is based in San Francisco with a flexible work arrangement.

Requirements

• Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science, Physical Sciences, or related field
• Demonstrated ability to train Deep Learning models using large datasets and deploy models into commercial software products
• Meaningful experience (5+ years) working with healthcare data (e.g., medical and pharmacy claims data)
• Experience with PyTorch or Keras, Python, scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, and Snowflake SQL
• Experience working cross-functionally to define analyses objectives and deliver analytical results
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, prioritize multiple projects, and problem solve under tight deadlines and resource constraints
• Excellent written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills, including ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear, concise manner to audiences with varying levels of technical understanding
• Ability to pass a background check
• Must live in and be eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy advanced predictive models and AI tools into Arine’s medication management platform
• Use advanced AI methods to assess the impact of Arine’s programs
• Create presentations and reports to communicate updates to the Data Science team as well as to cross-functional stakeholders
• Participate in critical reviews within the Data Science team on everything from methods used to implementation strategy and code

• The salary range for this position is: $160,000-175,000/year
• For candidates local to the San Francisco Bay Area, the ability to commute to our office on Market Street in San Francisco at least 2-3 days/week
