Senior Data Scientist

Summary

Join Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions, a leading ICT employer in Hungary, and become a Data Scientist in their dynamically growing business unit. You will develop innovative AI solutions for German health insurance companies and international commercial clients, utilizing technologies like Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Tableau. The role involves AI solution development, cloud and edge device utilization, and close collaboration with colleagues primarily in Germany. Mostly remote work within Hungary is offered. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in computer science or a related field, proven experience in data analysis and AI, and strong English communication skills.

Requirements

• Possess a degree in computer science or a related field
• Have proven experience in the mentioned areas (e.g., computer vision projects)
• Confidently use relevant technology stacks, such as Python, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, SQL, Spark, Matplotlib, Tableau, or similar, as well as Azure AI services
• Work independently and responsibly
• Communicate effectively and speak English at least at a B2/C1 level

Responsibilities

• Develop AI solutions: Create innovative AI solutions for clients, focusing on areas such as computer vision, time series analysis, predictive maintenance, forecasting, optimization, and data visualization
• Utilize cloud and edge devices: Develop solutions in the cloud and utilize edge devices for computer vision projects
• Collaborate effectively: Work closely with other departments and colleagues, primarily from Germany
• Work remotely: Primarily work remotely, utilizing common collaboration tools (e.g., MS Teams)

Preferred Qualifications

• MLOps experience: Proficiency in automating ML pipelines, including data handling, model retraining, validation, deployment, and monitoring
• Large language models experience: Experience integrating, operating, and addressing security concerns related to large language models, as well as using vector databases and multimodal solutions (e.g., Azure Open AI)
