Senior Data Scientist

Summary

Join Found's Data team as a Senior Data Scientist and leverage data to identify product and business opportunities, driving key decision-making processes. You will conduct deep investigative analyses to understand users, uncover insights, and propose and evaluate experiments to improve the product experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, create data-apps and reporting, and communicate results effectively to various stakeholders. Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for analytics. This role requires 7+ years of experience in analytics or data science, strong expertise in SQL and Python, and proven ability to drive business impact through proactive analyses. • Strong expertise with SQL and Python
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proven track record of driving business impact through proactive analyses

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep investigative analyses to better understand our users, uncover new insights, and drive decision making
• Propose, design, and evaluate experiments to test hypotheses and continually improve our product experience
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product, growth, and engineering, to solve business problems and improve user experiences
• Create data-apps and reporting to empower the teams you partner with to take action and make better decisions
• Communicate your results effectively, across an array of stakeholders and technical backgrounds
• Contribute to the development of best practices, standards, and frameworks for analytics at Found

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working at a fintech
• Previous startup experience
• Experience with bookkeeping or taxes and how it relates to self-employment
