Summary

Join Fullscript's dynamic data team as a Senior Data Scientist and leverage advanced analytics and machine learning to drive strategic decisions and enhance product offerings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform complex data into actionable insights, directly influencing Fullscript’s growth. Develop and implement sophisticated statistical models and machine learning algorithms. Design, conduct, and analyze A/B tests. Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders. Work with Analytic Engineers to design and optimize data pipelines. Guide and mentor junior data scientists and analysts. Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data science, preferably in product-led, high-growth environments (SaaS or eCommerce a bonus)
  • Strong foundation in experimental design, causal inference, and statistical analysis
  • Ability to tackle ambiguous problems, identify key insights, and drive actionable recommendations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Curiosity and humility , you’re excited to learn and even more excited to teach
  • Proficiency in SQL and programming languages like Python or R
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, XGBoost or similar) and statistical modeling techniques
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sophisticated statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets, uncover trends, and predict future behaviors
  • Design, conduct, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate the impact of product changes and new features
  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to identify data-driven opportunities and influence product and business strategies
  • Work alongside Analytic Engineers to design and optimize data pipelines, ensuring efficient data collection, processing, and availability
  • Guide and mentor junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in health tech, integrative medicine, or related fields
  • Experience with BI tools like Looker or Tableau, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as Snowflake or AWS
  • Knowledge of deep learning, natural language processing, or other advanced machine learning methodologies
