Requirements
- Proven experience (7+ years) as a Data Scientist, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong proficiency in ML algorithms for time series analysis and predictive modeling
- Expertise in Python programming and familiarity with popular ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch
- Solid understanding of anomaly detection techniques and predictive maintenance strategies
- Experience with performance evaluation metrics and model refinement / fine-tuning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ML models for anomaly detection and predictive maintenance in production lines, using techniques such as time series analysis and predictive modeling
- Apply and optimize various predictive modeling techniques to improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime
- Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and refine models to achieve desired accuracy and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineers, Production Managers, and IT professionals, to integrate ML solutions into the production environment
- Utilize popular ML libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch and TensorFlow, as well as programming languages like Python to build and deploy models
- Ensure data quality and integrity by working closely with data engineers to gather, clean, and preprocess production data
- Document solutions, findings, performance evaluation results, and best practices for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
