Summary

Muck Rack is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their growing team and develop Machine Learning technologies. The role involves working closely with data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and designers on major technical projects, leading new feature building, shaping engineering culture, and collaborating with other teams. Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience with Machine Learning or Statistical Analysis, a capacity for autonomy and out-of-the-box thinking, the ability to write sophisticated data analysis and machine learning code in Python, and a commitment to collaboration.

Requirements

• 5+ years total professional experience with Machine Learning or Statistical Analysis
• Capacity for a high degree of autonomy and out-of-the-box thinking
• Ability to write sophisticated data analysis & machine learning code in Python
• Commitment to collaborating closely with other engineers and across functions

Responsibilities

• Develop Machine Learning technologies which help simplify the jobs of our users
• Lead the building of new features
• Help shape our engineering culture and processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with text modeling, NLP, and large language models
• Interest in search
• Interest in journalism, news, media, or social media
