Requirements

  • Bachelor’s and/or MSc/PhD degree in Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline
  • At least 7-10 years of working experience in the field of data science
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering impactful, independent projects in prior roles
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Solid hands-on experience in machine learning and other advanced modeling approaches to extract and automate valuable insights from data
  • In-depth knowledge of causality and statistical inference
  • Expertise in statistical modeling and optimization techniques
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and domains, a can-do attitude
  • Having strong desire to take initiative and solve real world problems
  • Multi-disciplinary and cooperative ability to communicate effectively with diverse domains
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • No restrictions to travel in and abroad

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand the business challenges and formulate data-driven solutions accordingly
  • Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful patterns, valuable insights and inferences
  • Design, develop and deploy advanced analytical models to solve complex problems
  • Employ scientific approach for conducting experimental design and rapid prototyping
  • Lead the data-driven decision-making process, from data preparation and analysis to implementation and monitoring the results
  • Iteratively improve the solutions to meet the highest-class standards and productionize
  • Translate complex data analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Manage data science projects, ensuring they meet business requirements and are delivered on time
  • Research the best practices to build the next generation analytics products and services

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturing process domain expertise is a plus
  • Experience in time series modeling is a plus
  • Experience in building MLOps pipelines is a plus
