Senior Data Scientist

Summary

Join Veriff's Verification Automation team as a Senior Data Scientist to design, build, and implement machine learning models for identity verification products. Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to build production-ready models, own performance metrics, and influence model development. Evaluate external vendors, improve instrumentation, and create new machine learning products. Establish key metrics, derive data-driven insights, and conduct experiments to assess product impact. Work independently and collaboratively to deliver high-impact product features. Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional SaaS industry experience, successfully delivering high-performance Machine Learning models
• Theoretical and applied knowledge in Machine Learning concepts with a special focus on Computer Vision
• Hands-on experience working with Deep Learning toolkits such as Tensorflow or PyTorch
• Proficiency in SQL
• Can effectively communicate the results and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced, highly fluid, and multi-functional environment

Responsibilities

• Owning end-to-end responsibility of building production-ready machine learning models from prototyping to implementing the solution in the pipelines and measuring its impact on production
• Taking complete ownership of performance metrics for our machine learning models
• Influencing and shaping our machine learning models, evaluating external vendors, and improving the instrumentation to generate valuable insights and creating new machine learning products and models
• Establishing key metrics, deriving data-driven insights, and conducting experiments to assess the overall product impact of our machine learning solutions
• Working both independently and collaboratively with other engineers to define and deliver high-impact product features
