Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in data science with a strong background in statistical modelling, machine learning, and data analysis
  • Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Statistical skills utilized in A/B testing, analyzing observational data, and statistical modelling
  • Comfortable working with large data sets and analyzing complex data with SQL and other tools such as AWS Redshift, DBT and Cube

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, analysis, and interpretation of experiments that shape decision-making for the Vidyard strategy
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth and optimization
  • Drive and implement high impact projects end to end
  • Partner with our Vidyard stakeholders (Product, Finance, RevOps and Engineering) on advanced analytic initiatives (e.g., prediction modeling, causal inference, experimentation etc)
  • Present your research and insights to executive stakeholders
  • Work with business stakeholders to connect analysis to key decisions that affect the business to influence and drive impact
  • Balance handling ad hoc requests while also driving larger projects forward

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good business acumen on product innovations and excellent problem solving skills to translate business requirements to data science problems
  • A strong bias to action, delivering results quickly with iteration instead of waiting for perfection
  • Fast learner and comfortable with ambiguous requests
  • Exceptional communication skills and can manage stakeholder priorities directly
