Requirements

• US Citizenship is required
• Bachelor's Degree is required
• Minimum of 7 years' position-related experience is required
• Databricks Certified Data Engineer certification is required
• Bachelor's Degree
• 7+ years of experience in designing and developing cloud-based data solutions, with a focus on Azure
• Extensive hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure data tools
• Databricks Certified Data Engineer certification
• Proven track record of building and optimizing complex ETL pipelines in a cloud environment
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages for data transformation

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Azure-based data solutions
• Develop and optimize complex data pipelines using Databricks and Azure cloud tools
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including data engineers, scientists, and business teams, to translate business requirements into scalable data architectures
• Ensure solutions are designed for scalability, performance, and security, adhering to best practices and industry standards
• Continuously assess and improve existing data architecture, identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation
• Act as a subject matter expert in cloud-based data solutions, providing technical leadership and guidance to the team
• Mentor and support junior team members in data architecture best practices and emerging technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional and Microsoft Certified Azure certifications are highly preferred
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills with a focus on delivering high-performance data solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with large-scale data architectures and advanced analytics
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance practices in the cloud
