Join Energy Solutions, a growing company focused on delivering large-scale energy, carbon, and water-use savings through market-based programs. As a Senior Decarbonization Engineer, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to research and assess various technology families within the Energy Efficiency and Building Decarbonization portfolios.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead both short-term and long-term strategies to optimize energy savings, load management potential, and GHG reductions through emerging technology research projects or other market studies
- Analyze the savings, costs, and other impacts of energy efficient and low carbon technologies in the context of energy policy and emerging market trends
- Oversee product testing and other primary data collection strategies needed to fill data gaps in emerging technology research
- Participate in industry working groups and technical committees in support of technology families and/or end-use categories
- Develop strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders to ensure emerging technology studies address identified market barriers and have ample stakeholder support
- Write reports on technical topics, such as technology research, including energy savings analyses, cost-effectiveness analyses, and market impacts analyses, technology dissemination, and technology transfer
- Develop and deliver presentations on technical topics to a variety of audiences, including utility/program administrators, program implementers, technology companies, research organizations, government agency decision makers, engineers, and other stakeholders
