Summary

Join Aimpoint Digital, a leading analytics consulting firm, as a Senior Decision Scientist. You will collaborate with clients to design and implement data-driven solutions using machine learning, AI, and statistical modeling. Responsibilities include developing ML solutions, extracting actionable insights, and training clients on solution management. You will work independently on client engagements, contribute to practice development, and participate in business development activities. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in data science, proven experience in predictive modeling, and excellent communication skills. Remote work options are available within the US or UK.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or equivalent experience
  • MS + 3-4 years practical experience
  • PHD + 2 years practical experience
  • Required competency in Python and classical ML methodologies - deep Learning and Snowflake/Databricks experience is preferred
  • Evidence of applying predictive modelling to drive impact for customers in pricing, marketing, or product spaces
  • Interest in real applications of GenAI
  • Proven record of identification and development of ML solutions to measure and / or improve KPIs, such as product profitability, return on ad spend (ROAS), click-through rate (CTR), customer lifetime value (CLV) or customer churn rate
  • Experience communicating complex topics and results to high-level stakeholders in marketing & product roles. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Self-starter with excellent communication skills, able to work independently, and lead projects, initiatives, and/or people
  • Willingness to travel

Responsibilities

  • Become a trusted advisor working with clients to design end-to-end analytical solutions
  • Work independently to solve complex data science use-cases across various industries
  • Design and develop ML solutions including feature engineering, modeling and deployment pipelines
  • Orchestrate advanced analytical insights to influence decision making using statistics, ML modeling, and causal inference
  • Write code in SQL, Python, and Spark following software engineering best practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to ensure successful project delivery

Preferred Qualifications

  • Consulting Experience
  • Familiarity with traditional machine learning tools such as Python, SKLearn, XGBoost, SparkML, etc
  • Understanding of RAG pipelines and experience with GenAI models including finetuning
  • Databricks Machine Learning Associate or Machine Learning Professional Certification
  • Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification or SnowPro Advanced: Data Scientist Certification
  • Developed and deployed real-time pricing, recommendation or uplift models
  • Experience with causal inference
  • Understanding of MLOps and/or LLMOps
