Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and or art/design/portfolio school
  • 1-3 years of design experience in advertising or marketing agency or in-house setting; Healthcare Industry/Medical Field, preferred
  • Knowledge of Mac OS platform, as well as all current design software, including, but not limited to, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop, and Figma
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office (notably PowerPoint and Word)
  • Proficiency of pre-press production, and proficiency with communication/documentation platforms such as, ProofHQ, Workfront, etc

Responsibilities

  • Execute tactical and brand design solutions that are visually compelling and aligned with brand strategy and client objectives
  • Adhere to agency standards regarding file preparation, from concept stage through to final execution
  • Maintain consistency and quality across all deliverables
  • Collaborate with the art and production group to develop a range of visual styles as appropriate for different clients and mediums
  • Contribute to the development of creative concepts in partnership with writers and art directors
  • Translate ideas into clear, engaging design executions appropriate to the subject matter and audience
  • Explore multiple design directions and iterate based on feedback
  • Deliver work on-brief, on-time, and on-budget
  • Support the art direction of external vendors including photographers, illustrators, and other suppliers
  • Assist in developing shot lists and production specs in collaboration with internal teams
  • Present design work with clarity and confidence internally and to client
  • Defend design decisions strategically and purposefully
  • Work closely with print production and digital teams to ensure accurate execution in-line with the agency’s needs
  • Collaborate effectively across disciplines to support project goals
  • Stay current with design trends and emerging technologies inside and outside category
  • Develop understanding of products, competitors, market dynamics, and changes likely to impact category
  • Ensure tactics are aligned with strategic objectives and upholding brand identity
  • Assist on new business pitches as needed
  • Share design knowledge and inspiration with peers to elevate team output
  • Contribute to a culture of creativity and collaboration
