Senior Developer

Summary

Join our fully remote team in India as a highly skilled developer! You will play a crucial role in monitoring and optimizing our systems, collaborating with architects and business analysts on design and integration. This position demands strong analytical and problem-solving skills, extensive experience in backend development (Python/PySpark, SQL/PL-SQL, Databricks, Java/C#), and a proven ability to mentor junior engineers. You will be responsible for troubleshooting performance issues, documenting key decisions, and ensuring adherence to industry best practices. Experience with Azure, Kafka, Node JS, and Azure Data Factory is a plus.

Requirements

• Be a team player
• Have at least 5 years of IT development experience
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Have experience in designing solutions, performing code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers
• Have strong SQL and backend experience and work on data-driven projects
• Have experience with Python/PySpark
• Have experience with SQL/PL-SQL
• Have experience with Databricks
• Have experience with Java/C#

Responsibilities

• Understand the full picture and help operations with monitoring, dashboards, etc
• Work with the architect on design
• Constantly keep an eye on the cost and performance of the system
• Work with the BA on the integration requirements
• Troubleshoot performance issues and other functional issues
• Pay attention to details and document the key decisions made
• Mentor or guide junior developers and conduct code reviews
• Handle fast-paced projects and be willing to look into production issues
• Document and maintain project artifacts
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry standards, methodologies, processes, and best practices
• Promptly report any known or suspected loss, theft, or unauthorized disclosure or use of PI to the General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer or Chief Information Officer
• Safeguard the company’s assets
• Adhere to the company’s compliance program
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry standards, methodologies, processes, and best practices
• Maintain focus on customer-service, efficiency, quality, and growth
• Collaborate with additional team members
• Perform other duties as assigned
