Remote Senior Developer

Summary

Join us at Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia and contribute to the development of a multi-provider edge-cloud continuum as part of an European project. As a key member of our team, you will take ownership of architecture, design, development, deployment, and operations of microservices using DevOps practices and cutting-edge methodologies.

Requirements

• Have back-end experience within Microservice architecture using Go programing language
• Have experience working with Docker and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
• Have experience in CI/CD methods and practices and Infrastructure as code eg. terraform
• Have practical experience of TDD, BDD, DDD and distributed architectural patterns
• Have background working with event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar tools
• Are experienced in end-to-end development processes, including unit, integration & functional testing, application optimisation
• Have good communication skills and are a team player
• Have attention in detail
• Speak English (Upper intermediate level - B2), and German is nice to have

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the architecture, design, development, deployment and operations of the microservices you will develop, using DevOps practices and other cutting edge methodologies
• Be active, solution-oriented member of autonomous, agile team collaborating with Product Owners, across teams and opensource community
• Develop basic understanding of 5G core and related telco standards and architecture, and act as ambassador for software solutions offering support and mentorship to colleagues and partners
• Work with state-of-the-art technologies like Kubernetes, Istio, etcd, Kafka and more
• Interacting with product managers, customers and partners to drive different streams of feature development
