The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of software development experience, expertise in PHP, .NET & C#, MS SQL, and various other technologies. Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- 5 years of experience with PHP
- 2-3 years of experience with .NET & C#
- Strong proficiency in MS SQL (T-SQL), JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery
- Experience with SQL Server, stored procedures, and database design
- Experience with Git/Gitlab, CI/CD, AWS, Docker, and monolithic systems
- Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, IIS/Apache web servers, and security best practices (PCI, SOC, OWASP)
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable web applications and features
- Work closely with the Product Development Manager to align sprint work with roadmap goals (approx. 60% development, 20% support, 20% ceremonies/meetings)
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers; act as a subject matter expert (SME) across the stack
- Collaborate with QA, support, and product teams to triage and resolve issues
- Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to the teamβs technical knowledge base
- Support legacy applications (e.g., ColdFusion) while contributing to modernization efforts
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and help improve team processes and coding standards
- Help maintain database performance through optimized stored procedures and SQL design
- Set up and maintain a local development environment and contribute to DevOps practices via GitLab CI/CD pipelines, AWS services, and Docker containers
