Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • 5 years of experience with PHP
  • 2-3 years of experience with .NET & C#
  • Strong proficiency in MS SQL (T-SQL), JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery
  • Experience with SQL Server, stored procedures, and database design
  • Experience with Git/Gitlab, CI/CD, AWS, Docker, and monolithic systems
  • Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, IIS/Apache web servers, and security best practices (PCI, SOC, OWASP)
  • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments

Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable web applications and features
  • Work closely with the Product Development Manager to align sprint work with roadmap goals (approx. 60% development, 20% support, 20% ceremonies/meetings)
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers; act as a subject matter expert (SME) across the stack
  • Collaborate with QA, support, and product teams to triage and resolve issues
  • Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to the team’s technical knowledge base
  • Support legacy applications (e.g., ColdFusion) while contributing to modernization efforts
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and help improve team processes and coding standards
  • Help maintain database performance through optimized stored procedures and SQL design
  • Set up and maintain a local development environment and contribute to DevOps practices via GitLab CI/CD pipelines, AWS services, and Docker containers
