Senior DevOps

Summary

Join Encora as a Senior DevOps Engineer and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable applications. Lead technical projects, mentor junior engineers, and improve software development practices. This remote position is available in Colombia, Costa Rica, Bolivia, and Peru. You will automate tasks, manage CI/CD pipelines, and implement infrastructure version control. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, extensive software development experience, and proficiency in Python and several technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications
• Professional/ Advanced English skills
• +5 years of experience
• Experience with Python

Responsibilities

• Automate repetitive tasks, such as environment provisioning, software deployment, and configurations, using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef
• Create and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure automated, error-free deployment of code
• Implement and manage version control of infrastructure configurations, enabling consistency across different environments
