Summary

The job is for a Systems Operations role at Animoca Brands, a digital entertainment and blockchain technology leader. The role involves managing services, working closely with developers, and facilitating automation. Qualifications required include 5+ years of *nix-based systems management experience, Cloud Infrastructure service knowledge, Docker, deployment automation, hypervisors, Virtualization Technologies, and scripting language skills.

Requirements

• More than 5 years hands-on experience managing *nix-based systems
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure services (AWS, GCP, DA...)
• Experience with Docker and deployment automation
• Knowledge in hypervisors and Virtualization Technologies
• Programming experience with Bash and at least one other scripting language (Python, Ruby, Javascript, ...)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the availability and reliability of the different services
• Work closely with developers and other staff to support the general systems operations
• Facilitate automation improving deployments, and build systems reducing manual operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of configuration management systems, such as Chef or Puppet
• Experience with backend development and unit testing
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Up-to-date with the latest industry tools
