Capella Space is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage infrastructure and tools for their continuous integration and deployment processes. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, 8+ years of experience in a DevOps role, proficiency in scripting languages, configuration management tools, containerization technologies, database systems, monitoring and logging tools, and strong problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in a DevOps role
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure
- Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python or Bash
- Experience with configuration management tools, such as Ansible or Puppet
- Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with database systems, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus or ELK stack
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation pipelines for software development and deployment
- Manage and monitor infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance
- Collaborate with software developers to optimize application performance and reliability
- Implement and manage containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Configure and maintain database systems and related tools
- Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions
- Work with security teams to implement and maintain security best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with business needs
