Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary

Join DuploCloud as a DevOps Engineer and leverage your cloud deployment expertise to translate customer applications into cloud constructs using our platform. You will execute implementations, manage post-deployment operations (logging, monitoring, alerting), and ensure compliance with standards like SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA, etc. Direct customer interaction for onboarding, implementation, and support is crucial, including assistance with security audits. This role requires 5+ years of cloud experience and 3+ years building Docker images. Requirements

• 5+ years of cloud architecture, infrastructure or DevOps experience
• 3+ years of building docker images across one or more stacks like Python, NodeJs, Java, PHP, etc
• Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Sound knowledge of Kubernetes, ECS and similar container orchestration technologies
• Deep understanding of cloud security constructs like IAM, SG, GuardDuty, penetration tests, WAF, Security Hub, intrusion detection, CVE, and vulnerability scanning
• Technical and customer focused
• Able to interface directly with customers, guiding them through their devops journey

Responsibilities

• Understand the customer’s high level application and translate it into lower-level cloud constructs
• Execute that implementation using the DuploCloud platform
• Dockerize customer applications running natively in virtual machines
• Implement post-deployment aspects of cloud operations like central logging, monitoring and alerting
• Tie all implementations into compliance controls from standards like SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, HITRUST, etc
• Work with customers directly to support their onboarding, implementation and support needs
• Participate and assist customers on their security infrastructure and InfoSec audits

Preferred Qualifications

• Good knowledge on CI/CD systems, for example experience using GitLab workflows, Github Actions, BitBucket Pipeline, Jenkins etc
• Enjoy helping customers with their infrastructure transformation via solutions engineering through a 2-3 month DuploCloud onboarding process
• Passionate about providing world class devops support to customers
