Senior DevOps Engineer

Summary

Join Encora as a DevOps Engineer and significantly contribute to infrastructure automation, continuous delivery, observability, and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, evaluate emerging technologies, and promote process improvements. Shape standards and best practices while providing expert guidance. Play a fundamental role in driving cloud platform adoption. This full-time, work-from-home position is located in Brazil.

Requirements

• Have experience in a DevOps role, with hands-on AWS experience
• Have experience with IaC tools such as AWS CDK, CloudFormation, and Terraform
• Be proficient in scripting languages (Bash, Shell, or Python)
• Be familiar with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline
• Have experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Have a basic understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC)
• Have knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments
• Possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Make a significant contribution to infrastructure automation, continuous delivery, observability, and security by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
• Evaluate emerging technologies, promote process improvements, and shape standards and best practices
• Provide expert guidance to project teams across the organization
• Drive the adoption of cloud platform capabilities in collaboration with software engineering, architecture, and information security teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Have AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
• Be familiar with GCP (a plus)
• Be familiar with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, NewRelic
• Have experience with configuration management tools
